Documentary Photographer and Filmmaker.
I have developed projects for OXFAM, GTZ, DIAKONIA, USAID, MDM, ACDIVOCA, OSF, WWF, Kroc Institute and have worked with the United Nations (UN) and its various offices, programs and organizations (UNDP, OCHA, PAHO, WFP, UNHCR, UNFPA) in Colombia.I worked with international press agencies (Reuters, AFP, AP, EFE) in Colombia.Between 2016 and 2017 I was a fixer for the National Geographic Society magazine of the USA, on a special about Colombia.I worked with the Miami Herald, Publik of Germany, La Liga Contra el Silencio, the United Nations Political Mission in Colombia.In 2021 I worked with the “Comisión de la Verdad” in Antioquia and Eje Cafetero.
I currently live between Bogota, Colombia and St Petersburg, Florida, USA.
Nominated for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize together with the Miami Herald team, for the work “Dirty Gold”.Nominated for the Gabo Award in 2019 in the Coverage category, for the teamwork “Frontera Cautiva”.
