Central America - El Salvador, capital city San Salvador: Soldiers inside the Asamblea Legislativa (Legislative Assembly or Congress) chamber during a special assembly session ordered by the president. The Salvadoran assembly representatives from the opposition specially from the FMLN (left wing) and ARENA (extreme right wing) political parties is halting the approval of a budget which is need to begin with the third phase of his plan to tackle the violence, in particular from gangs, named Plan Control Territorial (Territorial control plan), the funds would be used to buy police vehicles, uniforms, surveillance equipment and a helicopter, among other things. Presiden Bukele is trying to force the politicians to approve it and has called for the insurrection or rise of the peoples to put pressure on them and thousands showed up at the building of the Legislative Assembly to rally in support for the president.
