Mother Earth
The restoration of the natural soul.

2021. Tolu viejo, Sucre, Colombia

In the heart of the dense jungle, where light barely filters through and the air feels heavy with humidity and sounds of nature, there exists an ancient secret that endures over time. In this forgotten corner, the jungle embraces the everyday, intertwining the lives of those who inhabit it in a network of invisible connections. Through my lens, I venture to capture the essence of this mystery in the jungle. I invite the viewer on a visual journey where nature and family converge in an eternal dance of life and mystery.

At first glance, the jungle appears to be a chaos of lush vegetation, but beneath its wild appearance there is a sacred order, a harmony that manifests itself in every corner. It is a place where life flourishes in all its forms, from the tiniest creatures to the most magical phenomena. In this context, a family lives in harmony with the jungle. Their routines are intertwined with natural rhythms, from dawn to dusk. My photographs capture intimate moments of this family life, revealing the connection between its members as they explore their surroundings with infinite curiosity.

But behind the façade of normality lies an ancient secret passed down from generation to generation, whispers of times past that still echo among the trees. Through my photographs, I seek to capture the essence of this mystery, revealing clues to a deeper truth hidden in the depths of the jungle.
