Street Musician and Song Writer, Sam Kule, performs a wide array of songs at the event. Uganda-born and Kenya-based, Sam Kule is an artist you have probably spotted singing in the Nairobi Central Business District if you are one to frequent the city.
Multidisciplinary hub of visual artists based in Kibra (Kibera) known as Art 360 Kibera, led and founded by Faith Atieno - artistically known as Chind Agulu - painted another mural as part of the advocacy work they do in covering social, environmental and political issues facing both Kenyans and the world. The mural depicts a message of peace through the message, "Let Peace Reign" and was crafted through youth and community effort on 21 Sept 2021, the International Day of Peace. #PeaceJam2021 brought together a myriad of artists spanning graffiti artists, painters, singer-songwriters and also traditional African dancers in celebration and obversation of the global day of peace.
