Most weekends, I love to take photo walks across the beaches of Accra to reflect on my life and appreciate the beauty of nature. Personally, taking photos specifically at the beach has become a way of escaping a chaotic world. The sounds of the waves and the fresh wind that blows put me in a state of peace. It has become my safe haven. Interestingly, there is no way you will take a stroll on the beaches in Ghana without discovering how people interact with nature. It is always a beautiful sight to behold seeing couples immensely showing affection for each other; holding each other’s hands and brushing their feet across the waves of the sea, swimming, moulding castles with the beach sand or even playing football. But I bet one thing you are not sure to miss is the horses and their horsemen. They come to the beaches to offer an experience to people who have never ridden a horse at a fee. My photographs depict how human beings interact with horses and nature as I journey on the path of finding peace within myself on the shores of Accra.
