leah giesler

i was born in the suburbs of philadelphia, daughter to an inventor-father & a mother addicted to reading science fiction novels. after a childhood instilled with unfettered imagination & absent boundaries, I put myself through art school where I studied photography & discovered anthropology.

my work has been recognized in the lens culture international exposure awards, forward thinking museum, acurator, & project basho.

i am currently traveling across south america photographing for 25 non-profit organizations while i am 25 years old.
