Summary

The Contemporary Landscapes In Photography 2024 awards has come to a conclusion, and wanted to share my thanks for being part of the final selection and to have been part of the exhibition in Perth, Australia. I've participated in the CLIP awards for almost a decade and only been selected once in the past into the pre-selections. This year Anouska Phizacklea, Director of the Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh) selected on of the portfolio photos from the series A Photographic Journey Through Second Life.

The Perth Centre for Photography's Australian Contemporary Landscapes In Photography 2024 Awards (CLIP2024) has come to a conclusion, and wanted to share my thanks for being part of the final selection and to have been part of the exhibition in Perth, Australia. I've participated in the CLIP awards for almost a decade and only been selected once in the past into the pre-selections. This year Anouska Phizacklea, Director of the Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh) selected two of the portfolio photos from the series A Photographic Journey Through Second Life. Many thanks to Anouska Phizacklea for helping my work overcome the hurdle of being considered part of photography. The CLIP awards stands out in Australia for its deeply forward thinking and experimental selection. Winning work is intentionally chosen for their innate qualities to instigate discussion, especially regarding the medium of photography itself. This year's winners, who I send warm congratulations, are exactly on que for the CLIP awards: main prize winner Lisa Stonham, student prize Dave Carswell, and judges commendation Josh Trotter. Biggest thanks to PCP and Naval Store for organising too.
