Internal disputes and mistrust: The dangerous climate in Las Bambas

Members of the Quechua-speaking community Fuerabamba 
gathered at their Yavi Yavi farm, during a 56-day strike, 
as part of the protests against the Las Bambas mine, 
operated by the Chinese company MMG Limited. 
Currently there are 183 social conflicts in Peru linked 
to the extraction of natural resources.
