Marcos Louit

Cuban filmmaker with more than 15 years of experience as director, editor, and manager of audiovisual post-production processes, including visual effects and CGI. An industrial design graduate, he received certifications from the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and the San Antonio de los Baños International Film and Television School (EICTV). He has been the editor and post-producer in important Cuban documentary feature films such as La singular Historia de Juan Sin Nada (Cuba), Canción de Barrio, Silvio Rodriguez en 2 años de Gira Interminable (Cuba), Liberation 7th Avenue (Cuba/China), among others. He has directed and produced concert audiovisual productions for important musicians such as Silvio Rodríguez and Joaquín Clerch. He co-founded NEWMEN studio, a project dedicated to immersive technologies that has produced Bembé and Cuba, the enchanted island, among other documentaries created in Virtual Reality, the first of their kind in Cuba. In addition, this study brought Augmented Reality to the National Museum of Fine Arts for the first time in the exhibition Havana: Images of 5 centuries.
