Hues in Nature’s Palette
Hues in Nature’s Palette reveals the beauty and uniqueness of nature. Different colours and its shades can be found in our natural environment especially on trees, tree trucks, vegetation, fruit and vegetables, animals, reptiles, birds, sky, water, flower petals and so forth.
As a visual artist, I am interested in the roles that colours play in our natural environment. Albert Einstein once said, “look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” I have discovered different colour schemes (primary, secondary, complementary, analogous, monochromatic colours amongst others) all represented in nature’s palette. As noted by Vincent Van Gogh (1853 – 1890), a Dutch post-impressionist painter who believes that “If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.”
