UCV First Aids also Known as Green Cross is a group of medicine students and practicing doctors who provide medical assistance to the injured during the anti government protests that have been taking place in Caracas since april 2017. Nevertheless a group of practicing doctors with years of experience join the group in each protest.

A group of green cross members takes position and carefully observes what happens during a rally against Venezuelan government. Francisco Fajardo highway. May 29, 2017. As part of their strategies they divide the conflict space into three zones, in each zone a group of ten volunteers is present. The green zone is 300 meters or more away from the clashes between protesters and the public force, there is where protesters are taken out to be seen by specialists or evacuated. The orange zone, 200 meters from the clashes, is where protesters are treated or immediately rushed out of the crowd. Finally the red zone, practically next to the conflict area, is where many of the wounded are either treated or sent to other zones.
