The Toonik Tyme Festival is a 10-day spring celebration of Inuit culture, community, and endurance. Held in Iqaluit each April, the 52-year-old festival marks the return of longer days and brings people together for traditional skills competitions and performances.

From igloo-building and bannock-making to sea-ice racing and the highly anticipated 320-kilometre Kimmirut Race, each event reflects the strength of Inuit knowledge and the joy of gathering in celebration of land, season, and heritage.
