London's Brick Lane has a long-standing history of migration, dating back to the French Huguenots, followed by the Irish, Jewish, and Bangladeshi communities settling in the area. Most recently, the street has become a hot-spot for gentrification - a place where history and present clash and mingle, where curry houses exist side-by-side hip vintage shops; papadoms and posh cocktails; bagels and bangles, all have their place.

Who, then, are the people that call the bricks of this lane - Home?
