POSTCARDS FROM KARUN
Since 2016, I have been researching pollution and drying sources of fresh water in Iran. I’ve chosen the Karun river, its inhabitants, and its entangled path as one of my main subjects. I try to use art's possibilities to depict the impacts of water pollution and the slow death of the longest river in Iran on families, the ecosystem, and its biological diversity.
