This emergency event is in direct response to the neo- Nazi “Blood Tribe” march and attempted recruitment rally that was held in Madison on November 18, 2023. This same terrorist organization menaced an LGBTQ community event in Watertown last year. And on January 21, 2024, Nazis projected a swastika onto a campus building at UW Whitewater.Various speakers were on hand to speak out against the hate groups like the ‘Blood Tribe’ represent. In addition, speakers spoke out against the genocide happening in Gaza to the Palestinian people, perpetrated by the Israeli government.
The event was hosted by ‘Wisconsin Bail Out The People Movement’ who were joined in solidarity by various other groups fighting and speaking out for democracy, justice, peace, worker’s rights, and healthcare for all.
