Wambi Molly has been a street vendor for the past five years, us women street vendors face a number of difficulties including oppression in our homes as women from our partners who do not want us to work, harassment from the local officials and displacement by urban developments.
The Covid19 period has affected me greatly; my business is doing so badly, when l get capital today, l go to work. When l fail, l stay home because l have no choice. I would request the government to reduce it's heavy hand because we also make a contribution to our economy, they should help us get licenses so as to legalize our work since they claim it's illegal.
