As an architect and project manager, Lillian understands how valuable it is for communities to see women leaders on the construction site a sector that is majorly male dominated.
Lillian believes her presence on the construction site gives the community a sense of what is possible for the girl child, themselves, friends and family. It shows that there are opportunities for meaningful employment outside of what they believe to be the typical work for women.
"The construction team is diverse. Everyone is skilled, with strengths, weaknesses and interests that need to be leveraged for the project's success." Says Lillian.
