Nica Guerrero is an Afro-Venezuelan photographer born in 1983 in Caracas and currently based in Los Angeles, California. Nica pursued sociology studies at the Central University of Venezuela, and his work focuses on everyday human experiences and how they relate to labor, social issues, and cultural identity. He collaborates with Reuters and is a member of the Imágenes Libres Agency. Nica is also a member of the International Federation of Journalists and Cacri Photos, a Venezuelan photographic collective that explores an alternative view of Caracas through the everyday life and resilience of its inhabitants.
