Nick Kozak
Photographer / Based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Nick Kozak is a photojournalist with a strong interest in reporting on the human condition. His interest in documenting the beauty and extremes of life has taken him to over 70 countries. Nick’s enthusiasm for his work as an observer and reporter is evident in the wide variety of projects he has taken on, ranging from the tragedy of the Haitian earthquake of 2010 to the daily lives of urban dwellers in China, Canada and Kenya.
Nick studied psychology and international relations at the University of Toronto and the University of Birmingham and completed his MA Photography in Dalian, China.
Nick works with Toronto-based media outlets including the Toronto Star and The Grid TO and is currently acting Photo Editor of the award winning iPad magazine Wondereur.
Nick's work has been exhibited in numerous galleries worldwide including galleries in Canada, the United Kingdom, China, Poland, Bangladesh, and the USA.
