Born in Brittany in the 70’s, Nikolaz Godet has photographed in more than 40 countries. From the Everest base camp to the deep forest of Amazonia, he developed his skill for photography at an early age, with film camera.
Living in India since 10 years, influenced by the raw beauty and deepness of portraiture he documented the Indian sub-continent in a still ongoing series of black and white photographs, from the Kumbh Mela – largest pilgrimage in the world to the remote villages of the countryside.
Lately, to share his knowledge acquired over the years, he led workshops through Tibet, Nepal and India.His fascination for Motorsport brought him to collaborate with the FIA and Red Bull, covering Formula 1 Grand Prix for various photo agencies and the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans for the renowned Motorsport.com
With more than a decade of experience, mastering the beauty of photography, he has covered eclectic international events, worked with prestigious brands, foreign and indian artists, Bollywood actors, fashion designers. Based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, he has specialized in portraiture, fashion, architecture and motorsport photography.
