Ladxido' Guidxi
Esta es una palabra que no tiene una traducción tan literal, si no a lo que representa, el corazón de las comunidades: los núcleos familiares y de amigos que se forman con el paso de los años.
A partir de mi experiencia, después de pasar algunos años en el Distrito Federal, regresé a mi población con una nueva forma de ver las cosas. Con cámara en mano he retomado mi lugar de nueva cuenta en mi pueblo, lo cual me ha permitido redescubrir mi comunidad, sus tradiciones y a sus habitantes.
Esta serie muestra esa intimidad en las comunidades, las escenas cotidianas de mi población, el interior de mi familia y de mis amigos, quienes me llevan a retomar lo que para mi representa el principal pilar de eso que llamo comunidad.
This word, in Zapotec, refers to what the heart of the communities represents in itself: the nucleus of families and friends that are formed over the years.
Based on my experience, after spending a few years in México City, I returned to my town with a new way of seeing things, with camera in hand, I have taken up my place again in my town. This has allowed me to rediscover my community, traditions and habitants.
This series shows that intimate part of the communities, the daily scenes in my town, inside my family, my friends, that lead me to retake what for me represents the main pillar of a community.
