Erotic video chat is a relatively new phenomenon in the sex industry, particularly in Colombia. Although recent, it has become extremely popular in the country, which today is the second largest provider of video chat models in the world just after Romania.
Not only the profession offers an attractive income that may be between a few hundred to a thousand-plus dollars a week, but is also open to all sex genders from any age, body type and ethnicity. Working from home or from a professional specialised studio, this job offers level of safety never experienced before in the sex industry, as models are not required to have any physical contact with their clients. It’s also not always about sex. The sex factor in webcam modelling is losing importance, and components like friendship, social interaction and entertainment are becoming the main focuses.
Nowadays, high-quality professional studios also offer education to the models, which consists in learning foreign languages, technology, body language, dance classes, psychology, and more.
