Fundraiser to Replace My Stolen Work Laptop

On 10 August 2025, my entire mobile studio — comprising a laptop, iPad, camera, microphone, hard drives, power banks, accessories, passport, and backpack — was stolen at a Berlin train station, resulting in total losses exceeding €10,000. Despite a police report and lost-and-found filings (documentation available), no items have been recovered.

My urgent priority is to replace my MacBook Pro (16-inch, equivalent to the one stolen, approx. €3,600) — my primary tool for professional photo, film, and sound editing. Without it, much of my photography and multimedia work has come to a standstill. This includes my writings on borderbeing.com, video reviews for my Careful Optimist YouTube channel, and projects with Nkata Podcast.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise €3,600, ensuring I can return to my work with a machine that will serve me for years to come.
