The Daring Magazine Open Call for Women & Non-binary Visual Storytellers

Spotlight is a regular Q&A series delivering the voices of storytellers in visual media. Every month, The Daring spotlights a different visual storyteller through an in-depth conversation about their creative process and most moving work. This is an opportunity for women and non-binary photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, animators, and graphic designers to receive an invitation to be part of this series published on The Daring. We’re particularly interested in storytellers making visual content that reflects their communities or topics they have deep personal experience with. Our overall mission is to produce interviews and wisdom that illuminate the nuances of living an expressive life, as told by working artists — including writers, musicians, designers, visual artists, and others.
