Visura Scholarship for Career Development 2017

A series of grants to support individual Visura members in furthering their career. Visura announces a $600 scholarship to sponsor the workshop fee for one working journalist, freelancer, photographer or video journalist to attend a two-day intensive workshop with James Estrin, the co-editor of the New York Times Lens blog, and Mary Virginia Swanson, Sarah Leen and Whitney Richardson in New York City. The participant will learn to select, sequence and publish visual stories with some of the key leaders of the industry.
