Cinépolis is a Mexican company dedicated to the exhibition of films, founded in 1971 in the city of Morelia. As of december 31, 2023, there were 891 movie theaters operating with 6,836 100% digital theaters; 499 are located in Mexico and 6,337 in 17 countries. Thus becoming the largest film exhibition company in Mexico and Latin America, occupying first place in the industry globally in terms of ticket sales and tickets sold per theater, being the third largest chain in the world in number of theaters and the most important outside the United States.
