Kris Pannecoucke, born in Kinshasa, Congo started my career as photographer and traveled intensively through the DRC the last couple of years on assignments for magazines, NGOs and corporate clients. My Photo work has been published in National Geographic Magazine, Wall Street Journal, GEO (Germany) and French magazines Jeune Afrique & l'OBS among others.
I often make some leaps in my career as videographer and started a small editing house Picha Publishing www.pichapublishing.com focusing on stories in DR Congo. Made a documentary film about "The long road of a salary in Congo" or how civil servants in remote areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo get their salaries paid when it's payday in the jungle.

Published a hard cover photo book about the Congo River, the result of several years working and traveling on the Congo River from the estuary in the direction of the furthest source. Today I split my time between Antwerp, Belgium and Kinshasa, Congo.
