Pranabesh Das was born at Sylhet, a bordering area of Bangladesh, on July 1981. Spent some time of childhood in a village name Ujangaon by the bank of a Haor in Sunamganj. Started doing photography in 2006. Later got training from Pathshala, South Asian Media Academy, Bangladesh. Interested in social issues is seen through the backdrop of Bangladesh’s changing economic and political landscape.
His work has been published in numerous national and international newspapers, magazines and publications including Reader’s Digest, Better Photography, Photojournale, National Geographic online, Private Magazine Online, Daily Star, Dhaka Tribune, New Age, Prothom Alo and many others.
His photographs exhibited in Bangladesh, China, UK, Japan, Indonesia and USA.
