Illuminating Her Gaze is a visual tribute to the resilience and beauty of women, intertwining their journeys with the organic structures of nature. Rooted in a decade of observation in India since 2014, this series reimagines female portraiture through the delicate yet enduring symbolism of trees—branches reflecting struggles, roots signifying legacy, and leaves embodying renewal. Created using the platinum palladium printing method, the project challenges traditional representations of the female gaze, celebrating self-love, vulnerability, and strength. Each photograph becomes a totem of empowerment, inviting viewers to honor the rich tapestry of women’s lives and their profound connection to nature.
