What began as a trip filled with self-doubt transformed into a celebration of friendship, creativity, and safe spaces.
The zine takes its cover from a quiet wall outside Gai Noi, where two empty seats became symbols of conversation and care.
Within this city, I felt like a baby chick—receiving warmth, kindness, and inspiration.
The Little Brown Mushroom workshop with Alec Soth opened doors to vulnerability, storytelling, and shared growth.
Rachel’s comforting meals and the collective spirit of participants made Minneapolis feel like home.
Every walk, every place visited, filled me with energy to carry forward in my art.
I brought back fragments of this love—waters of the Mississippi, Alec’s pool, Buffalo Lake, and gathered flowers and stones.

Ultimately, Taste the Love is about finding healing, connection, and creative courage in unexpected places.
