I'm (Ranja Ali) from Sulaymaniyah city of Kurdistan, Northern of Iraq and i was born in 10th June of 2000s in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
It was 2016 when i started street-photography, Story telling became my most important routine of my days when i was sixteen years old, day by day i was experiencing random people with random stories that I captured with my camera and it let me to start taking footages in the early months of 2017 and i worked with film projects by local and international films and art works during the years and when i made my low budget short film in 2017 as the first time filmmaker, it gave me a stunning and unstoppable passion and my short film (Same Room) got selected in two international film festivals in (Scout Film Festival, Newark IFF) which was my first bright flames to hype me up for the next projects I did.
After this short film i directed more than 5 short films, Documentaries, Art Projects.. and I was assisting and participating in international films with international crews such as (Spanish, British, Americans) and they taught me many creative ways for filmmaking and art projects.
Photography is the way that shows me how to tell a story widely.
