Emilie Richardson is a New York based photographer available for assignments worldwide. Originally from Minnesota, she began her career shooting for local papers and documenting life in the Midwest. She is a National Geographic Explorer for her work on renewable energy on the Pine Ridge Reservation. She was a participant in the VII Agency Masterclass and a nominee for the Joop Swart World Press Masterclass. Richardson has spent her career working on longform storytelling and photojournalism, working all over the world. Her work has appeared in many publications including, Time, Reuters, Getty Images, Bloomberg, The Atlantic and The Washington Post. Her first film on the legal divorce process in Afghanistan premiered at the Socially Relevant Film Festival in New York. Richardson is FAA drone and HEFAT certified.
