Au cœur des montagnes du Liban, j’ai réalisé un reportage sur un orphelinat fondé en réponse aux conflits qui ont ravagé la région. Situé à Jabboulé, près de Baalbek, il est tenu par la congrégation de Notre Dame du Bon Service.
Hébergé dans leur monastère, j’ai découvert le quotidien des moines et des sœurs qui élèvent des enfants rescapés des bombardements, ainsi que des réfugiés syriens. Plus qu’un simple refuge, cet orphelinat offre aussi une éducation gratuite aux enfants des familles les plus démunies, sans distinction de confession. À travers cette série, j’ai voulu raconter leur combat silencieux, entre foi, résilience et espoir.

In the heart of the Lebanese mountains, I documented an orphanage founded in response to the conflicts that devastated the region. Located in Jabboulé, near Baalbek, it is run by the congregation of Our Lady of Good Service.
While staying at their monastery, I witnessed the daily lives of monks and sisters raising children who survived the bombings, along with Syrian refugees. More than just a shelter, this orphanage also provides free education to the children of the region’s poorest families, regardless of their faith. Through this series, I wanted to capture their silent struggle, marked by faith, resilience, and hope.
