My project Generation Covid, a portrait series documenting new mothers during the spread of Covid-19 in New York City, is published in The New York Times!

Becoming a mother is arguably the most dramatic shift in identity in a woman’s life – equally exciting and terrifying. Isolation and loss of connection are not new experiences for first-time mothers. But during this time of self-isolation, fears and anxieties are magnified, and isolation is an almost full-time experience.

Through this project, I hope to draw attention to the vulnerability but also to the strength and resilience of these women charting such unprecedented, uncertain times.
