Start over in viper territory  Far from the lights and the temptations of Tijuana, addicts to the harshest drugs coexist in a detoxification center that works like the army. In the middle of the Tecate desert, the inmates, most of them deported Mexicans, have to stand in line and ask for permission even to communicate. The director of the clinic, Roberto Salazar, served in the United States Armed Forces and fought in the Gulf War. When he left the Navy, he became addicted to methamphetamine and began to commit a crimes. After going serving out his jail time, he was deported to Baja California, Mexico. Then the former military man founded the Caridad el Hongo Rehabilitation Center to help others who went through the same thing as him
