Stephany Hildebrand is a photographer based on Haudenosaunee territory along the shores of the Upper St. Lawrence River. Her career as a photographer began in the studio of artist Pascale Girardin where she photographed interior design and still-life. In 2018, she shifted gears to expand on her intuitive understanding of nature through post-secondary studies in environmental technology. The program introduced her to the River Institute where she now applies her skills as a documentarian, and her passion for nature to produce science communication materials that unite visual poetry and research.
Stephany is passionate about the scientists and community members who live and work closely with the environment and hopes to uplift them through visual story telling.
She is open to collaborations, conversations and creative exchange.
