Sonya Singh is a freelance writer, editor, and photographer in Southern California.
Her work has appeared in Los Angeles magazine, Rogue, NME and Nylon, among others. She has photographed artists from small stages to stadiums, helped tell stories from an inside maximum-security prison and interviewed hundreds of people from U.S. ambassadors to Slash. Her story on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza was featured on the cover of Rogue magazine's summer 2017 issue, and her interview with musician James Bay was featured on the summer 2019 cover.
A graduate of Pepperdine University, where she served as the executive editor of the weekly newspaper, Singh also currently advises student media in Southern California. She has traveled in more than 20 countries, previously working as an editorial assistant in London and in television development at BBC Worldwide in Los Angeles.
She is available for editorial and corporate writing, photography, copy editing and onscreen work in Southern California, as well as domestic and international travel.
