Stefano Schirato became a photojournalist after graduating in political science from the University of Bologna. He has always focused on social themes, such as environmental pollution, psychiatric and food disorders, disability, gender inequality.
He collaborates with several national and international magazines. He also works for associations and NGOs , taking part to projects on human rights, refugee crisis and illegal immigration.
Stefano has several ongoing projects in Russia, Ukraine, Albania, Romania and about pollution and corruption in the South of Italy.
He lives in Italy.
