Syed Yaqeen, born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a documentary and editorial photographer based in NYC and Reading, PA. His work is dedicated to amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities through visual storytelling. Syed’s long-term project, American Muslim Experience, explores the diversity of Muslim narratives across the U.S., challenging stereotypes and combating Islamophobia. His work has been showcased in exhibitions, including Photoville 2024, and solo shows at the NYPL. Recognized as one of NYC's Best 10 Editorial Photographers by Peerspace, he has also received multiple Honors of Excellence from WPPI.
