Itatí is an argentine photographer born in 2001. She started by focusing on portraiture and street in 2017 and then decided to undertake the path of documentary photography to cover political and social issues. Her main interests are anthropology, latinamerican culture & society, and minorities. Her reportage materialised in the book "Spells against violence", 2018 ("Conjuros contra la violencia, 2018), depicting the activism carried out by art teachers at a library located in a conflicted area in the outskirts of San Juan showing how art can be a way out of dangerous realities. Itatí is currently working on the ongoing project "Martina Chapanay" which focuses on a women organization that was born in 2020 to fight the economic and social crisis in San Juan worsened by the pandemic.
