My first post on Vistura, and I thought it made sense to post one of the most exciting events I've ever been able to witness — a total solar eclipse, with a path a visibility across so many major North American cities. This was from a park I frequent in Dallas, where the city skyline is in plain sight along the Trinity River. I was totally rocked. The collective oohs and ahs at the sun revealing itself from the cloud cover, a firey orange progressively thinning finger nail. The temperature shift from a typically hot and humid Texas spring to a cool crisp, within minutes. As cliche as it is, it was a reminder of how totally insignificant and teeny weeny we are. I left feeling invigorated, witnessing what felt like at pinnacle magic act of nature. I, now, understand why there are eclipse chasers.
