Ukraine: Documenting the frontline of battle in Mary’inka, a border town of Donetsk that became a pivotal line of defence for both sides. The following photos show fighting before, during and after battle. Those who remain in the 'grey zone' are mostly the elderly due to lack of resources to leave or to remain and protect what they own from looters.
