    Since the mid eigthies, Stacy has been photographing urban issues and the socio-political climate of New York. Her images of politicians and social issues have appeared in such publications as: The Advocate, The Atlantic, Time, Newsweek, Der Spiegel, GQ, Fortune, The Huffington Post, New York Magazine, The Sunday New York Times Magazine, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Globe and Mail, Scholastic, The Village Voice, Weekly Reader, MSNBC, ABCNews.Com, Conde Nast Traveler and MSN.com.

Stacy has also exhibited her work in a number of local galleries around the New York area including: the Grey Art Gallery, Hunter College Gallery, the Samagundi Club and the Hudson River Museum.


Stacy earned her BFA and MFA in Photography from Hunter College where she studied with Mark Feldstein and Roy Decarava. She took additional photographic studies at the International Center of Photography with Harvey Stein and Buzz Hartshorn. Stacy also participated in a series of workshops with Life Magazine photographer Yale Joel, at his home in Croton-On-Hudson.

Stacy is a former member of the photo co-operative, Impact Visuals where she served on Impact's Board of Directors.
