Wayne Chinnock

I am a journalist and commercial photographer who is passionate about creating superb photographs of the moment. With all subjects I document it is imperative that the beauty of the moment resonates in with final created image. Cultural, documentary and travel photography are driving forces in my career in addition to a strong passion for gourmet and lifestyle photography.  However all my commercial, personal and portrait work feed into an ongoing stimulating photography experience that always progresses towards increasingly better work that I deliver to my clients and galleries. 

When it comes to photographing people I am driven by the mix of human and natural palettes in our lives. What we create, how we inter­act, our failures and achievements, but especially our struggles intrigue me. Though the world is becoming smaller on an information sharing scale our education, health and economic discrep­ancies are more than apparent if not growing in some areas of the world. Documenting the changes our world is going through is not only intriguing and beautiful but and important project for photographers to continue.  With my documentary work my intention is always to make fine art work that speaks to the viewer on multiple levels, visually stunning images that also bring important subjects to light.

My commercial, gourmet and lifestyle work is natural and lean, yet a little raw. I produce images feeling both organic and visually clean at the same time. My production time and delivery of materials is always efficient and in line with contracts. I travel wherever clients and the creation of great images take me. My documentary work includes video and audio production as well.
