Public Project
Certified Realities
A series exploring surreality. Merging the physical world with reflections. Creating an optical illusion, asking viewers to accept the illusion as part of reality. The series was first conceived of in 2012, Key contributing factors for this series are the reflective surfaces (window glass, stainless steel or ceramic tiles). They're positioned to reflect one continuous image of a reflection of reality, and reality itself to the viewer--bringing about a "realistic" merging of both the physical world and reflection. The buildings and windows of New York City were used to bring about this illusional experience.
