Since I was an athlete in track and field, i was impressed with the people who running marathon. The story of Marathon is full of pain and emotions, falls and triumphs. It is like an on going game against yourself, a redemption run. It looks like the fight for survival of ordinary people. From all the stories of the marathon, i always moved me by the story of the Japanese long distance champion and bronze medalist  Kōkichi Tsuburaya. On 9th of January 1968 after an operation that did not allow him to take part in the Olympic Games in Mexico, he killed himself with harakiri (traditional samurai suicide).  "I can not run anymore. Please forgive me ... " he wrote in the letter that left. So, I decided to sit at the 40th kilometre where the body quits and the attempt is a little of transcendent to reframe the importance of trying. This year, the Athens Classic Marathon becoming 120 years old and i named this project to honour all the anonymous Kōkichi Tsuburaya of the world.
