Vist Projects selects 8 collectives to join the E·CO/24 program

Summary
After an arduous selection process, Vist Projects presents the 8 collectives that will participate in the sixth edition of the E·CO/24 program, a Meeting of Ibero-American Collectives.
Each collective will be recognized with a production grant of €5,000 to develop visual narratives, a training and production space with virtual support for four months with leading photography professionals, and an exhibition with an artistic residency in San José, Costa Rica.

Vist Projects presented the 8 collectives that will be part of the E·CO/24 program, a Meeting of Ibero-American Collectives, in its sixth edition after an ardous selection process. They received 1,169 applications. These are the other collectives selected: Espacio Agua, Instituto Etno, Uai+ma, Gente de Río, Labarra, Ritz’bailil C’aslimal – Colores de Vida and Caudales de Memoria.

The Selection Committee was made up of: Ana Belén Ramos, Head of Service of the Network of Cultural Centers of Spain; Elvira López Cámara, Head of the Cultural Activities Area, both from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID); Gael Almeida, Executive Director for Latin America of the National Geographic Society; Sofia Fan, Director of the Center of Visual Arts and Collections of Itaú Cultural; Claudi Carreras, Director of VIST and Co-Director of E·CO and Gisela Volá, Co-Director of E·CO.
