"ConFine, a digital odyssey" is a visual research of the ongoing long-term project "Faction border", started in 2015 composed of photography, video, sound, paint, e-book, exhibition and performance.

Thousands of migrants arrived at the US/European border after traveling many km from their home countries in Central America, Africa or Asia. Most of them are fleeing persecution, poverty, and violence in the home town and are looking for a safer and better life in the dreamed democratic States. USA and Europe have lashed out at the migrants, calling them an "invasion", authorized the use of force and threatened to shut down the frontier if the migrant caravans are not stopped.

For migrants who want to apply for asylum and enter legally, requests are processed slowly as authorities tighten up asylum rules. Migrants may face a long permanence in the borders area and caritative structures. The so-called "emergencies" and laws make things complicated for migrants and many of them decide to cross illegally the borders.
