SeaLevel
I quit my pool membership the day after my very first swim in the San Francisco Bay a few years ago and started swimming fairly regularly after that, but it wasn't until the 2020 pandemic hit that I started swimming everyday, rain or shine. Swimming daily in cold, salty water with weather, waves and marine life is an extraordinary experience and, as a photographer, I want to capture and share this unusual sea level perspective.
All images below are available to purchase as (big!) archival pigment prints and 20% of the sale of any SeaLevel print will be donated to The Marine Mammal Center of Sausalito, an organization that rescues, rehabilitates and then releases marine mammals along the Central to Northern coast of California. I am such a fan of and believer in the work TMMC does that I also volunteer there every week.
