AfD Campaigns in Nordhausen Mayoral Election
With the AfD in Germany polling 22% Nationally and as much as 30% in the former DDR states it is now coming in as the second biggest party in the Federal Republic behind the CDU. Its popular support is attributed to the ongoing military conflict in Ukraine and the present German Governments position of unqualified financial and military support for Ukraine not being in Germans and Germany's best interests. The increase in living costs and concerns over employment continued standards of living and general insecurity , again attributable to the Ukraine conflict, is fuel for AfD support. The Right Wing political Party is confident and can envisage electoral success in winning Nordhausen Mayoral Election on 24th September, 2023
NORDHAUSEN, THURINGIA - SEPEMBER 16: AfD supporters gather at a Burgerfest held by the AfD on September 16, 2023 in Nordhausen, Germany.
